Ford Certified Service Technician

Responsibilities:

Execute repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications;
Tests components and systems using diagnostic tools and special service equipment;
Diagnoses, maintains, and repairs vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning.

Performs road tests for diagnosis of clients' complaint and verification of repair;
Performs other duties as assigned;
Works as a team along with the Service Advisors communicating clients' vehicle needs;
Attends manufacturer-specific training classes;
Performs line technician services, routine inspections/maintenance, system diagnostics, and full automotive troubleshooting and testing;
Continuously expand your knowledge for new technologies and practice;
Test-drive vehicles, and test components and systems, using diagnostic tools and special service equipment;
Execute repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications.

Requirements:

High school and/or trade school education required;
Great mechanical, diagnostic, and electrical skills;
Must have basic computer skills necessary to use factory software;
Must have a valid Driver's License;
Ford certifications preferred;
Positive, friendly attitude, along with an eagerness to improve;
Dexterity, requiring a steady hand, excellent hand-eye coordination;
Mechanical and troubleshooting skills and ability to operate electronic diagnostic equipment;
B level qualifications, including Diagnostic, Electrical and Engine Repair;
High school diploma or equivalent, ASE Certification required;
Ford certification required (or the ability to obtain Ford certification);
Teammate with ability to collaborate with others effectively;
